Eligibility & consultation

Do I need a prescription?
Yes. All medications offered through LegitPep are prescription-only and require evaluation by a US-licensed healthcare provider. The provider consultation is a one-time $49 fee that covers your initial intake review and the first 30 days of provider follow-up; medication is charged separately, only if a prescription is issued.
How does the consultation work?
Complete a brief intake covering your goals, medical history, and current medications, then pay the one-time $49 provider consultation fee. A US-licensed provider reviews your information and, if you are an appropriate candidate, issues a prescription. If a prescription is not issued, you are not charged for medication, the $49 consult fee covers the provider's clinical time and is non-refundable.
Which states do you serve?
Provider coverage spans all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, and select US territories. State-specific availability of the prescribing provider is confirmed during your consultation.
What if I am not eligible?
If your provider determines a treatment is not appropriate for you, no prescription is issued and you are not charged for medication. The $49 consult fee compensates the licensed provider for reviewing your case and is not refunded, since the clinical work has been performed regardless of the outcome.

Medication & pharmacy

Are these medications FDA-approved?
These are compounded preparations, not FDA-approved drug products. They are produced in a US-licensed compounding pharmacy under USP standards (including USP <797> sterile compounding) and FDA-regulated requirements for compounded medications under FD&C Act §503A. The brand-name equivalents (such as Ozempic® and Mounjaro®) are FDA-approved drug products manufactured by their original sponsors; LegitPep does not dispense those.
How do you verify potency and quality?
Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for potency, identity, and sterility. The Certificate of Analysis is available on each product page or by request through your patient portal.
What about side effects?
GLP-1 medications can cause side effects including nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and rarer serious effects. Side effects are discussed during your consultation and detailed in your prescription information. Always report concerning symptoms to your provider promptly.
How is my medication compounded?
Sterile compounding is performed in a USP <797> cleanroom by licensed pharmacists. Active ingredients are sourced from FDA-registered suppliers. Each vial is labeled with the lot number and tied to its production COA.

Shipping & delivery

How long does delivery take?
Once your prescription is approved, your medication ships within 1 business day. Domestic US transit is 2–4 business days with cold-chain packaging where required.
Do you ship internationally?
No. We currently dispense to US patients only.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. All shipments arrive in plain, unbranded outer packaging with no mention of LegitPep, the medication, or the pharmacy on the exterior.

Privacy, billing & refunds

Is my health information protected?
Yes. Your protected health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA. Information is shared only with your prescribing provider, the dispensing pharmacy, and the carrier delivering your shipment.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards, plus bank transfer for high-value orders. The $49 consultation fee is billed at intake; medication is charged as a separate line item only after a prescription is issued. Insurance is not used.
Can I get a refund?
The $49 provider consultation fee is non-refundable, it compensates the licensed provider for reviewing your intake whether or not a prescription is ultimately written. For medication: if your provider does not issue a prescription, you are not charged for it. Once a medication has shipped it cannot be returned for safety reasons; if it arrives damaged or not as prescribed, contact support@legitpep.com within 7 days for a replacement.
Can I cancel a subscription or repeat order?
Yes, anytime, by emailing support@legitpep.com or via your patient account. Cancellation before the next dispense date stops future charges.
