Frequently asked

What you should know before starting.

Is a prescription required?
Yes. Every medication on LegitPep requires a prescription from a US-licensed provider. The provider consultation is a one-time $49 fee that covers the clinical review of your intake and the first 30 days of provider follow-up. Medication is charged separately, only if a prescription is issued. See the Terms of Service.
How is quality verified?
Every batch is tested for identity, potency, and endotoxins per USP standards. The COA is attached to the prescription and viewable in your patient account. The compounding pharmacy is state-licensed with a resident pharmacist of record.
How fast does treatment ship?
Most prescriptions are dispensed within 24–72 hours of provider approval. U.S. transit is 2–4 business days, cold-chain shipped. We do not ship internationally. See Shipping & Returns.
What payment methods are accepted?
Secure card payments at checkout. We do not bill insurance — pricing is transparent and listed per dose. For billing questions, contact support@legitpep.com.
What's the refund policy?
The $49 provider consultation fee is non-refundable — it pays for a US-licensed clinician's time to review your intake whether or not a prescription is ultimately written. Federal pharmacy regulations prohibit the return of dispensed prescription medications, but you are only charged for medication if your provider issues a prescription. If your medication arrives damaged, defective, or temperature-compromised, contact us within 48 hours for a free replacement. See the Shipping & Returns page.
Will my information stay private?
Yes. LegitPep operates under HIPAA-aligned controls. PHI is shared only with the providers and pharmacies fulfilling your prescription. See our Privacy Policy for details.
